What is Compounded Medication?
According to the United States Food & Drug Administration, compounding is a practice in which a licensed pharmacist, a licensed physician or a person under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist combines, mixes or alters ingredients to create a medication tailored to the needs of an individual patient.
Our compounding professionals work to offer the best solutions, customized to a patient’s specific needs. We can compound medications in many forms such as: topical ointments, sublingual drops, oral and nasal sprays, lollipops, rectal solutions and suppositories, as well as other customized dosage forms.
Our state-of-the-art laboratory is maintained by highly skilled and experienced pharmacists and technicians, and our process exceeds the regulations set forth in USP 795, ensuring the utmost patient safety.
